According to the European Commission directive, effective from February 2nd 2009, aviation activities will be included in the EU-ETS starting in 2012. Affected are all airlines flying to or from an airport in Europe. From 2010 onwards, all EU member states will be given a fixed amount of emission allowances. This amount will be passed on as certificates to all airlines handled by the respective responsible EU-member state as certificates. In order to meet the ETS monitoring and reporting requirements, all aircraft operators are required to prepare a monitoring plan for each trading period:
- Annual Emissions Monitoring Plan
The monitoring plan for the second trading period (2013 - 2020) must strictly follow the EU Monitoring and Reporting Guidelines and should be submitted to the competent authority of your administering Member State.
Our Monitoring Plan services contain the complete preparation of the Monitoring Plans for the approval by the corresponding national authority.
With the required information provided by the aircraft operator we will prepare and submit the plan and guarantee that all rework and change requests will be finalized within the timeframe given by the authority.
